HYDERABAD: Delhi's Karminder Singh of Team Meco Racing won the Senior Max Class in the first round of the JK Tyre Rotax Rookie Cup at the Hyderabad Kartainment track in Shamshabad on Sunday.

Karminder logged 104 points to finish ahead of Mithun Ganatra and Raj Ganatra.

Gaurav Rakesh Marne emerged triumphant in the Micro Max Class while Gaurav Rajan Davare clinched the Junior Max Class. Read More...

Kolhapur's Chittesh Mandody, representing Team Mohite's Racing, staved off a stiff challenge from Chennai's Vishnu Prasad (Meco Racing) to take the prime spot on the grid for the pre-final in the Senior Max class in the qualifying round of the FMSCI-JK Tyre National Rotax Max karting championship at the Kari Motor Speedway circuit in Chettipalayam here on Saturday.
